2. Data Stored on Your Device
InvoiceForge saves the following information in a local SQLite database on your device. This data is not sent to our servers and remains under your control.

Delete all local data any time via Settings → Apps → InvoiceForge → Storage → Clear Data, by using the in-app data reset option, or by uninstalling the app.
3. Backup & Restore
InvoiceForge lets you export a JSON backup file and import it on another device. You initiate every backup and restore.The file is saved or shared through your device's system share sheet (email, cloud drive, messaging apps, etc.). We do not receive, store, or process backup files.
If you store backups in a third-party cloud service (Google Drive, iCloud, etc.), that service's privacy policy applies to those files.
4. Android & iOS Permissions
We only request permissions needed for app features you choose to use.

No location, contacts, microphone, or advertising permissions are requested.
5. Local Notifications
InvoiceForge uses local notifications only — scheduled on your device with no server connection. Reminders may include:
- Due-soon alerts — when an invoice due date is approaching.
- Overdue alerts — when an invoice has passed its due date.
You can deny notification permission or disable alerts in your device settings without affecting core invoicing features.
6. Payment Reminders (SMS, Email, WhatsApp)
When you send a payment reminder, InvoiceForgeopens your device's native messaging app (SMS, email client, or WhatsApp) with a pre-filled message. The message is sent directly by you through that app— we do not transmit customer contact details or message content to our servers.
7. PDF Export, Print & Share
Invoices are rendered to PDF locally on your device using built-in print services. When you share or print a PDF, the file passes through your operating system's share sheet or print dialog. We do not receive copies of exported documents.
8. Advertising & Purchases
InvoiceForge contains no advertisements and offers no in-app purchases or subscriptions. The app is free to use with all features available without payment.
9. Third-Party Services
InvoiceForge does not integrate analytics platforms, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or cloud storage backends. The only third-party interaction occurs when youchoose to open WhatsApp, your email client, a cloud drive, or another app through the system share sheet — governed by that service's own privacy policy.
10. Children's Privacy
InvoiceForge is a business productivity tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, contact us at it.dev.kips@gmail.com and we will take prompt action.
11. Data Security
All data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's operating system security. Optional app lock adds a PIN or biometric gate. We operate no servers holding your data, so no server-side breach of your invoice data is possible through us.
You are responsible for securing backup files you export and any devices where the app is installed.
12. Your Rights
Because we do not collect or store your data on any server, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on your behalf. You retain full control through the app and your device settings. To erase everything: uninstall the app or clear its storage via Settings → Apps → InvoiceForge → Storage → Clear Data.
13. Changes to This Policy
If we add features that change how data is handled (for example, optional cloud sync or analytics), we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
